Founded by lifelong animal rescuer Mayte Garcia, Groomer on the Go was created to make grooming safer, easier, and more compassionate for pets and their familiesβby bringing it into the space where dogs are most comfortable. After more than 25 years of caring for animals of all kinds, Mayte built her at-home dog grooming service on patience, empathy, and trust. Every grooming session is tailored to your petβs unique needs, because here, every dog is treated like family.

Owner and Head Groomer
For over 25 years, Mayte has been a passionate animal rescuer, helping pets in need throughout Las Vegas through her 501(c)(3) organization, Mayteβs Rescue. In her work, she has seen pets of all kindsβyoung, old, happy, scared, and everything in betweenβbut, time and again, she also saw just how much of a difference it made for every animal to receive kind, compassionate grooming. With tender, gentle care, timid pets had a chance to open up under the safety of their groomer, and Mayte was inspired by how much happier and more confident animals seemed after just a bit of cleansing TLC.
That discovery led Mayte to become a professional groomer, where her passion for building trusting, loving relationships with dogs guides her approach to emphasize gentle care, patience, and the utmost tenderness. At every visit, her goal is always to groom with love and the same care sheβd want for her own dogs. She canβt wait to bring her expertise to your door!
